Except for the fact that we still don't have our luggage--Rene and I have decided to make the best of it and enjoy what we are able to do until that time when we get our belongings.
Today we drove the Charles Parks Hwy. to Denali National Park. The drive was glorious!!! The leaves are turning mostly brilliant yellows and some oranges mixed in. The black and white spruce trees lend an interesting contrast to the landscape. Tomorrow we head into the park itself--hoping to see lots of wildlife. Hopefully not running into a bear too closely!
Jet lag is setting in so this will be short. Enjoy some of the pictures we took today. See you tomorrow!
