The SAGA of the flight over!!!

Ok where do I begin! Leaving Atlanta ---thunderstorm hits the airport--out on the tarmac waiting for clearance to leave---20 mins. later--half hour late we are leaving. Flying over Texas we have to go 100 miles out of our way to avoid another storm---making our flight even later. We do have a connecting flight in Phoenix where we only had an hour layover---well that is dwindling fast. We finally get to Phoenix and our flight leaves in 10 mins. we are still on the plane. Feeling like we are on the show "Amazing Race" we get off the Atlanta flight and we RUN to our next flight where the door is almost closing. Ohhh yes! "Your luggage will be there" say's the flight attendant. "Sometimes it gets there before you do". Well, we get on the plane and 10 mins later we are leaving---luggage questionable. It was a long flight from Phoenix--but we made it safe and sound.

The "Welcome to Alaska" sign looked good. As we waited for our luggage and waited and waited. We noticed a trend---lots of people picking up luggage no luggage for us and 5 other people that were on the same flight as ours. Well, while Rene dealt with the luggage issue, I ran to get the rental car---one nice thing--we have a flashy. snazzy car! THE AVENGER!!! I head back to the terminal to pick up Rene and I see him talking to a ticket agent---that is not a good thing! Not to ramble on anymore---we don't have our luggage yet---but we are in ALASKA!!!
